The Supin was run by Mark Raisey's team from the UK down from the Village of Motad to the confluence with the Rupin. Same year in December Shalabh & Eneko Yarza ran the super comitting canyon called Ghunya Ghati on the section above Motad.
The maps confuse the names of the rivers and the locals seemed as confused as anyone, calling the river numerous names including the Rupin, Tons, Supin and a few more. Luckily there is no ambiguity regarding the river Rupin and that its called the Tons after the Rupin & Supin meet.
Ghunya Ghati is about 12 kms upstream of Netwar and the put in is from a bridge on the road to JAKHOL. You can scout parts of the canyon using some rope work, but its not much of a help.
