GANGA KAYAK SCHOOL is the only resource in India whose sole
job is to promote and teach kayaking. GANGA KAYAK SCHOOL began
in Rishikesh in the year 2000, and has since then trained
many local and foreign people who have become hooked on kayaking.
The founder and manager of the school Shalabh Gahlaut is probably
the most experienced kayaker in India and among the most experienced
kayakers in the World when it come to India. Shalabh has been
kayaking in India and Nepal, including some first descents
in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh (rivers which have never been
kayaked before).
